I am Kenneth F. Crowe, an author, writing to you from Malone, New York 12953, in Franklin County, in the North Country near the Canadian border. I was born in Alabama. I have lived here in Malone for 26 years. I am 76 years old. I am a husband, a father, and a small-town American who still believes in faith, family, and common sense.

What is America As I See It?
America As I See It is common-sense commentary on America, freedom, and faith from a small town that still flies the flag every day.
I started this site because I watched the country I love start to forget the things that held us together. One Flag, One Constitution, One Nation Under God. I watched people stop saying the Pledge. I watched common sense get replaced by big city talk. I decided to write down what I see from my desk in Malone.
I do not have a staff. I do not have a team of writers in New York or Washington. Everything you read here is written by me, Kenneth F. Crowe, at my desk in Malone, NY. Straight talk, no fluff, from 76 years of living, working, and watching this country change.
What You Will Find Here:
On this site, you will find three things.
First, my story. I write about growing up in Alabama, saying the Pledge of Allegiance every morning and meaning it. I write about faith and family, about why Sunday church still matters, about hard work and why your word should still mean something. I write about life in Malone, NY — a place where people still wave when you drive by, where the farmers get up at 5 AM whether it is snowing or not, where neighbors help neighbors.
Second, my daily blog. Every day I write a short commentary on what is happening in America as I see it from Malone. You can read my daily blog at blogamericaasiseeit.blogspot.com. I link to it from every page here. That blog is where I talk about freedom, about the Constitution not as a piece of paper in Washington but as a promise to people in places like Franklin County that their voice still counts.
Third, my books. Over 26 years in Malone, I have written books and true stories from my life and from this town. True stories from a small town that is still America. You can find my books and stories in my store.
Why Malone, NY?
Malone is in Franklin County, up near the Canadian border. We are not on the national news. But we are America. If America is going to remember who she is, it will be because of small towns like this. The people who plow the roads, teach the kids, run the diners, go to church on Sunday — that is America. From Malone, NY to America — one man's view.
One Flag, One Constitution.
That is my motto. One Flag. One Constitution. One Nation Under God. I believe in one flag that we all stand under. I believe in one Constitution that applies to everyone. I believe common sense still works. You don't need a degree from a big city to know right from wrong.
